Join us for a day-long workshop, where we will introduce you to the arts of therapeutic flying and Thai yoga massage.
During this workshop, we will explore simple yet profound Thai-yoga massage techniques for legs and arms so that you practice on your base, friends or loved ones. Ending with a guided thai-yoga massage flow.

Flying Therapeutics is a bodywork practice where clients benefit from a weightless, inverted and restorative treatment.This is about breath and letting go of tension. The base will move flier into poses where they can relax without any effort.
🌺 About Thai Yoga Massage
Thai Yoga Massage is form of body work that weaves the healing therapies of acupressure, Yoga and Ayurveda into moving meditation. Each session involves a dynamic dance of, energy line work, assisted yoga postures, and muscle compression to help you feel relaxed, present and comfortable in your body. With its origins based in Buddhism, this traditional practice emphasizes learning how to give compassionate touch as a form of meditation or 'metta', an offering of loving kindness.

Tara & Valtteri
*Tara *
Tara is a yogi and heart centered teacher who specializes in thai massage and yoga. She has been deepening in these practices, and meditation since 2010. Today it is her life's work, passion and spiritual path. She regularly travels to Thailand to train with various masters and schools, and has completed several yoga teacher training programs. She loves sharing these teachings from the east as more than form, but vehicles to learn how to listen deeply, pray, meditate, and move from intuitive guidance. You can find her on Hornby Island during the warm summer months offering yoga, thai massage and specialized retreats by the beach or in a yoga studio in the forest. She is currently living and offering sessions in Vancouver.
*Valtteri*
Valtteri is a passionate mover. Background in kitesurfing, freeskiing and stand up paddling. Valtteri enjoys discovering new ways of movement. Since 2013 Valtteri has been diving deep into the world of partner acrobatics, acroyoga and Thai massage. Travels have allowed him to learn from many different teachers and styles. He enjoys the constant process of learning and sharing his knowledge. As a teacher, Valtteri likes to create a space where the journey is equally as important as the goal. He likes to challenge people by movement, creativity and have fun while doing it. Originally from Finland but spends many months a year abroad learning and teaching. Currently living in Vancouver / BC.
